Good Site, Bad Site

1) Brown University

- GOOD: simplistic, modern, animation a plus
- GOOD: organized well
- GOOD: navigation is good because of drop downs
- GOOD: use of multiple pictures on one page
- GOOD: clear site search
- GOOD: easy to read, colors do not clash
- BAD: hard to use for inexperienced web users

VERDICT: GOOD

2) Michigan Renaissance Festival

- BAD: I hate splash pages
- BAD: no clear focal point, not drawn in
- BAD: corny graphics, gradients and effects - word art
- BAD: everything is tacky
- BAD: LONG load time
- BAD: cluttered, use of text color
- GOOD: easy to navigate

VERDICT: BAD
